New Nashville Townhomes in The Nations near Centennial Boulevard

Red Seal Homes is excited to plan new townhomes to be located in The Nations near Centennial Boulevard in Nashville.

(Townhomes eyed for The Nations, originally written by Staff Reports at Nashville Post).

A multi-building townhome project is being eyed for a site in The Nations, with the prospective developer to go before the Metro Planning Commission in January to seek a rezoning to accommodate the effort.

Chicago-area-based Red Seal Development (founded 85 years ago) would serve as developer. A spring 2018 groundbreaking is eyed on the multi-parcel site, which has addresses of 1003, 1011, 1013 and 1013B 44th Ave. N. The collective 1.86 acres sit about one block south of Centennial Boulevard.

RSD has the West Nashville property under contract with owner Sudekum Capital LLC. American Towel & Rental Service operates from the 1003 parcel.

Todd Fishbein, RSD co-owner with Brian Hoffman, said the project’s working name is 44th Avenue Townhomes. The project would yield 38 townhomes in eight buildings. Nine of the residences would be designated as workforce housing units.

RSD will go before the commission on Thursday, Jan. 11, to request specific plan zoning. Nashville-based Centric Architect is handling design. A rendering has not yet been finalized.

Catalyst Design Group, also locally based, is handling land planning and engineering. “We’re excited and proud to be part of Nashville’s growth,” Fishbein said. “We look forward to building special Red Seal communities as the larger Nashville community grows.”
